• Despite the tragedy of the F-I-U pedestrian bridge collapse that killed 6 people days after its installation, “Corrupt Carlos” supported extending a $130 million contract for the firm that built the bridge after its collapse — a company his sons worked for and his family owns. Those same family members have donated large sums of money to his campaign. (BACK UP)
• “Corrupt Carlos” Giménez gave himself a 67 percent pay raise but cut $400 million in spending that would create jobs for us. His increased salary of $250,000 a year is more than almost every Mayor in the country. (BACK UP)

Voters and voters on the go need to see from gun safety allies in English and Spanish:

• Debbie Mucarsel-Powell’s father was killed by a man with a gun. She led the fight for universal background checks for gun purchases, making it harder for criminals, domestic abusers and those with mental health issues to buy dangerous weapons. Even though 56 Floridians are killed by a gun each week, Carlos Giménez opposes requiring background checks on all gun sales to keep guns out of the hands of terrorists and domestic abusers. Giménez even opposes a ban on military-style assault weapons, like the ones used in the Parkland and Pulse shootings. (BACK UP)
